Description
Videte per iumento (See-through beast of burden)
Common tongue: Glass-skinned rock-eater
Their body is large and Sauropod in form with a head similar to a Rabbit, with large eyes with a metallic sheen and long eyes lashes to keep their eyes safe from the dirt and silt they forage on. They can live up to 30 years and can grow to 12 ft (from ground to their shoulder).
They are Geophage feeders and they live on mud, clay, silt and rocks found at the bottom of their wet-land habitats. Their Bear-Like claws help they dig out nutrients in the dirt and buried minerals. The spikes on their feet can also help to dig away top soil and foliage. They also have tusks in order to dig into the earth. The tusks and teeth are continuously growing and their diet of from rocks and grit mean they are ground down.
Interestingly; they have Clear Skin, revealing their organs and bones beneath. However their skin is quite thick so they are not venerable. Mud is often used to add further protection to their skin, giving them a dappled and earthy appearance. The spikes on their body give them added protection from predators. They will develop spikes on their feet and sometimes above their eyes over time.
Males have Luminescent Spots on the end of their ‘false horns’ (these are ears that have over time hardened and evolve into horns, two by the side and one at the top of their head). This is used to attracted females in the dim light of the dusk and dawn- which is when they are most active.
They are fairly intelligent, not often noted since they are often found grazing, but they have complex social structures Small Group of 2 - 5 Individuals and have keen problem solving abilities.

This is for the creature creation contest. Like my Hexalope ( [link] ), Octobos-pinnatus ( [link] ) and Avis duobus mensibus ( [link] ), we all design a creature based on features voted on by the club members. So the outcome is completely surprising, and while everyone will do something vaguely similar, it should be different.
