Second year group animation, done in 3D studio max for our group project as part of the Portsmouth University BA animation course.

this is the story based of the Aesop's fable of the fox and the goat, with a slight twist as originality done by Ollie.

This was done as a group, me (emeline porter) as team leader, Ollie Mcdonald (who was almost like second / IN command some days because he's awesome!), Chaza O'Connor and Attila Kiraly.

I'm really happy with this project and everyone did excellent work. Although 9as you will see_, the lighting does somewhat flicker to out right change in scenes. This was an unforeseen glitch in our master scene. there must have been a moving light for a few frames, but unfortunately, we hadn't noticed it until render time came and we had no time to re-render (some scenes taking about 6 hours to render!).

There are a few bits we each would have liked to change (for me- there are a few sound issues I would have tweaked slightly and the terrible walk cycle of the goat at the beginning I did would certainly be better!,), but over all our work was excellent.

For those who are interested, I did the baggage reclaim scene in the beginning, all the llama scenes (except where he gets beaten up) and the final prison scene. I also did the textures for the llama and the goat. I also did the base models of the background characters (they weren't meant to look like the Madagascar characters at first! Blame Ollie! XD ) and provided the textures used for the environment. I did the benches and the vending machine too. :)

You can at least find Ollie here: :iconguido37: and Attila here: [link]

The music by the way is a selection form the wonderful game 'The Neverhood'. I highly recommend everyone find and play it if they can, or at least bask in the glory of the videos of it online. :)

critique very much welcomed.

Aw, that was great. Just a shame the music was a bit too loud at times, you couldn't here the dialoge right.

Now, I loved the llamas, the goat was adorable. and the fox was hilarius in the pink shirt.
