It was asked of me recently how Shadow (my main bat character - [link] ) gets on with my newest character Lydia (my lunar moth character - [link] ).

All I can say is that I'm sure they'll get on very well, but lets just hope shadow doesn't get too hungry or tries to get closer t her batty routes. I think shadow is a fruit bat...but then again she is a carnivore. O.o

anyway, just a silly pic for you guys. I'm still alive, just very busy. :3

Love the way Shadow licks her lips, and the way you posed the wings, that is how bats hunt, isn't it?

Oh, and the way her wings are transparent, really good detail ^^

Hehe. You may call it just a silly pic, but you did a wonderful job with this. The postures and expressions of both characters is perfect, especially the way Shadow is standing, with wings nearly wrapping around Lydia. The worried look on Lydia's face looks great, given the way Shadow is gazing down at her with hungry eyes and licking tongue.

It really is an awesome pic, and that little pic of Shadow's head with the puffed out cheeks in the bottom corner, is simply adorable in its cuteness. :D

holy cow this is awsome. I see vasts amounts of improvement in your work since you've started fart school. EXCELLENT!

try to render with colored pencil now to create more depth.

Thank you very much! And yes, despite me not doing too much art outside of animation, I have noticed my improvement, really making me appreciate my class more. <3 And yes, i plan to do that over-lay of pencil on anther picture of Lydia in the future. :3

Thank you! and yes, that's usually how bats hunt. I'm working on her wings a bit at the moment to get it right. :3
